Commstor DR combines real-time data replication with continuous system state protection and provides on demand recovery from either the real-time image of the system or a snapshot image of the system from a previous point-in-time. This additional flexibility makes the solution ideal for recovering from unwanted changes such as viruses, corruption and accidental deletions.
The Commensus DR Service provides protection for MS Exchange, MS SQL, MS SharePoint, Oracle, IIS, File and Print and many more, because our solution is both application and hardware independent, you can perform data replication from any hardware manufacturer.
Both Commstor DR & High availability solutions prove a cost effective way of delivering protection of critical systems in the event of an unforeseen disaster. By replicating to our C-VIP platform the capital expenditure and ongoing maintenance costs of redundant hardware are completely eliminated.
Commstor High Availability
Many customers who have recently made an investment in new hardware will want to retain their physical servers on site as opposed to writing off these assets. These companies can join the Commensus High Availability Service, which protects against server, line or site failure.
Your physical server is replicated in real-time to a standby virtual server and in the event of disaster this server assumes the role of the failed physical server. All user data, applications and email will be identical as they were before and should be no more than minute's out of date if at all!
